The genie is out of the bottle. There is no turning back. We are committed to moving to the web-based system for future play of the Wizard card game on the internet. Technical advances have made it imperative that changes be made if Wizard is to move beyond the current outdated system. Change is often painful but we request all players to cooperate in helping us to make the transition as quickly and smoothly as possible. Try the beta program and provide feedback to the programmer so that revisions and fixes can be made quickly.
Don't forget that starting on January 1, 2009 online play will count towards winning 2 free trips to the 2010 World Wizard Tournament in Germany. Although there is no fee you are required to register in order for your scores to count.
