Why, you may ask do so many people arrive at the Wizard site wanting to play the card game "Phase 10"? The answer is revealed here.

I have no idea where they got this misinformation. They state that "Wizard" is an online version of "Phase 10" which it clearly is not. I won't bore you with the rules of "Phase 10" but they bear no resemblance to "Wizard".
Another mystery is why "Phase 10" outsells "Wizard". The answer is marketing.
"Fundex" markets "Phase 10" and they have access to the major chains in the USA which "Wizard" does not. Do not even suggest that "Phase 10" outsells "Wizard" because it is more fun or more challenging because it simply isn't.
Someday "Wizard" will outsell "Phase 10" in the USA. I can only hope that I live long enough to see that come to fruition.
