STAMFORD, CT— MAY 6, 2011—U.S. Games Systems, Inc. announces several exciting new developments for its award-winning Wizard Card Game, know as “the Ultimate Game ofTrump.” Wizard recently won a Dr. Toy Best Classic Toy Award and has been named a Games 100 Selection five times. Wizard Card game has become immensely popular around the world, with over ten million players worldwide.

The Wizard deck is similar to a regular deck of playing cards with the addition of Wizards and Jesters. Players try to win the exact number of tricks they bid. The rules are easy to learn - the strategy adds excitement and challenge!

U.S. Games Systems recently launched its Wizard Game Night Event program. U.S. Games Systems has put together a complete kit for game players and retailers to host Wizard Card Game Nights. Individuals who wish to organize a game night receive complimentary copies of the Wizard Card Game, bidding coins, score sheets, table set-up instructions, and $25 for prizes or snacks. Retailers who stock Wizard Card Game can also host special game events with materials supplied by U.S. Games Systems. Stuart Kaplan, chairman of U.S. Games Systems reports that the response so far has been overwhelming with hundreds of community centers, churches, schools, retirees, camp groups and individuals nationwide signing up to host Wizard Game Nights.Winners of these events will have the opportunity to participate in the Wizard National Tournament to be held in Orlando, Florida in September 2011.
There is also the International Wizard World Tournament being held in October in Budapest, Hungary.
Wizard has also branched out into the electronic forum with a Wizard Card Game app on iTunes, which is now available for select Apple devices including the iPod touch, iPhone, and iPad. Wizard Card Game is available in its original version, a Deluxe Edition, Wizard Junior, and Fantasy Wizard Card Game.
